Christian and Kayla met in 2015 & felt fireworks on the 4th of July when Christian asked Kayla to be his girlfriend. After that they were inseparable & shared many memories over that 1st year. Christmas 2015 was when Christian met Kayla's fur baby Jax & it was instant love. Jax decided they could keep Chris & the 2 have shared a bond ever since. 2016 was another fun year & one of the highlights was going to Stagecoach sharing their love of country music & dancing the night away. Kayla & Christian moved in together with their fur baby Jax & Christian was in the audience when Kayla was crowned Miss California. In 2017 Christian & Kayla moved into their first apartment together & decided to add another fur baby to their little family. Colt has been a loving part of the pack ever since. Thanksgiving this year Christian took Kayla & the dogs to his family's property in Ojai, California "The Lot" & many memories were shared with the entire family. 2018 started out rough as the Locher family lost a very special man. Chris' grandpa Joel passed away in January. Christian and Kayla were by his side in his last days. On his final day when Kayla walked into his room Grandpa Joel pulled her in close & said "Take Care of my grandson". Kayla promised she would. Kayla understood this blessing just a few short months later when Christian proposed July 14th on the family cruise meant to celebrate Susie & Joel's 50th wedding anniversary. Joel's blessing meant more than anything in that moment. Later in 2018 Christian and Kayla moved into their first home together & the wedding planning began. 2019 was filled with many fun memories& Christian and Kayla were the Best Man & Maid of Honor at Kayla's sister's wedding which happened to be at their same venue. The first of 2 walks down this special aisle. 2020 has been filled with many unknowns but what the couple does know is that they will be married November 14th 2020 & look forward to sharing a wonderful life together!
