It was Ashley’s 30th birthday and the pair were looking foward to leaving in less than 24 hours for a week in Barbados. Bryan and Ashley decided to make a quick day trip to one of their favorite places, Dewey Beach. After stopping by Dewey Beach Surf Shop, The Starboard, and Hammerheads Dockside, the two headed to the drive on beach. The weather was cold and overcast, but they decided to put their toes in the sand anyway. When arriving to the beach Bryan prepared Ashleys only birthday wish, to drink from a coconut on the beach ! After setting up the coconuts with fancy twisty straws, the two began to set up their new camera they had purchased together. After perfecting the self timer mode, Ashley ran to the shoreline to take some more pictures (of course). In the mean time, Bryan had switched the music to one of her favorite artists Jack Johnson, turned the camera to video mode and waited nervously for her to come back to the truck. Already feeling as happy as can be, enjoying all her favorite things with her favorite person, Bryan surprised Ashley one more time. Little did Ashley know, Bryan had been meeting with a jeweler for the past few months, creating the perfect engagement ring for her. After meeting with her father and receiving his blessings, everything was ready for this moment. Bryan got on one knee and popped the question!!!
