Our Story

Shared universe, different paths.

It’s a classic modern romance trope: two people in the same city missing each other for years, only to connect deeply online and then realize their missed chances. Ashley and Devin spent the better part of their twenties in Maryland frequenting the same colleges and local dining spots, but somehow never ran into each other. Working five minutes apart in Baltimore and often spending their lunch breaks to grab crab cake eggrolls from the same restaurant but never crossing paths. Fast forward to mid-30s, a relocation to a new city, busy careers and a desire for authentic love. Obviously, it was the perfect time to dive into the local dating pool. After a few days of witty banter, text exchanges and phone calls, they decided on a dinner date, which ended after hours of conversation, laughter, and lots of crab cake eggrolls. As they say, the rest is history. Ashley and Devin believe that every twist and turn has somehow led to this moment of connection. It’s as if God has been at play, arranging circumstances, people, and experiences to bring them together. Love, in this sense, isn’t just a feeling between two people — it’s a movement of forces far beyond their understanding. God orchestrated the meeting of their souls, ensuring that they cross paths in ways they can hardly comprehend.
