Our Story
Ryan & I grew up just minutes apart, attended the same middle school summer strength program, and went to the same high school, but never truly connected until summer 2021 when our mutual friend group, “the Committee,” began spending nearly every day together. You could find us all hanging out on Prior Lake, at my cabin, or our childhood homes. Those long summer nights, filled with laughter & special moments, slowly revealed there was something more between us. I wasn’t sure how serious things would get - we were back at colleges in different states, 222 miles apart - but Ryan proved he was all in. That November, he rode 3.5 hours to DSM, IA with my entire family to see my final volleyball game. From that weekend on, we have been inseparable. Long-distance had its challenges, but only brought us closer. I cherished the weekends I spent visiting him, meeting his friends, & getting to know his world, just as he did for me. We are so excited to take on this next chapter of life TOGETHER!
