How It Began
Once upon a time, Alex found himself in a predicament. He had a date party coming up; however, he had a small, but critical problem - he did not have a date.
Luckily, he was friends with Lauren and Lexi, two girls who just so happened to have a roommate named Ashley. As the date party grew closer, Alex’s panic set in so he did what any savvy gentleman would do - he texted the girls to ask if "any roommates can go?" (we’ll pretend he asked for Ashley by name). Ashley - intrigued by the cute boy who visited her dorm on occasion, and consistently made her laugh - said yes.
The party itself? An unmemorable evening of well liquor and cheap beer. However, somewhere between the try-hard DJ and the overcrowded bar, there was a spark.
What started as a last-minute “yes” to a date party turned into a “yes” to forever (only ~7 short years later).
Moral of the story?
Always say “yes” to the date party.
You never know - you might meet your forever plus-one.
