Things To Do

There are endless things to do in the Twin Cities - even in the middle of winter! Here are a few places we recommend checking out:

Mall of America®

60 East Broadway, Bloomington, MN 55425

What's a trip to Minnesota without visiting the largest mall in North America?! Besides the endless shopping and eateries, kids and adults can go wild in Nickelodeon Universe, the indoor theme park located in the middle of the mall (baseball fans, there is a piece of history within the park you might want to read about/find!). For aquatic fans, MoA is also home to SEA LIFE, where you can see a variety of maritime critters in a 300ft long tunnel. There's also miniature golf, a mirror maze, A.C.E.S. flight simulation, B&B movie theatre......you get the point. One thing to note, there is NO sales tax on clothes in Minnesota; the price on the tag is the price you'll pay - have fun shopping!

CHS Field - GLOW Holiday Festival

360 North Broadway Street, Saint Paul, MN 55101

If you're willing to brave the cold, check out the GLOW Holiday Festival with over a million lights which is located at CHS Field, home of the Minor League Baseball team the St. Paul Saints. CHS Field is actually kitty-corner from our venue, and you'll be able to view it from the floor-to-ceiling windows the night of the wedding!

Walker Art Center

725 Vineland Place, Minneapolis, MN 55403

The Walker Art Center is also home to the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, where the famous "Spoonbridge with Cherry" (or as Minnesotan's say, the Cherry and the Spoon) sculpture can be seen. The Sculpture Garden is free, and admission to the Walker Art Center is free on the first Saturday of the month - so it might be a good option for a visit the day after the wedding, as that is the first Saturday of the month!

Mill City Museum

704 South 2nd Street, Minneapolis, MN 55401

In 1880, the Washburn A Mill was completed, becoming not only the flagship mill of the company that became General Mills, but also the largest and most technologically advanced flour mill in the world. The Mill City Museum is built within the ruins of this once-crown jewel that put Minneapolis on the map as the flour milling capital of the world.

Science Museum of Minnesota

120 West Kellogg Boulevard, Saint Paul, MN 55102

With a plethora of exhibits to explore from the human body to a scavenger hunt to sportsology to dinosaurs and fossils, there's something for everyone to discover at the Science Museum of Minnesota!

Como Park Zoo & Conservatory

1225 Estabrook Drive, Saint Paul, MN 55103

Como Park Zoo and Conservatory have a special place in Sally's heart, since she grew up going here - it's a small but mighty zoo, and the conservatory has stunning, picturesque flowers and plants to enjoy as well.

Minneapolis Institute of Art

2400 3rd Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55404

Guthrie Theater

818 South 2nd Street, Minneapolis, MN 55415
