Joshua and Abby met on August 11, 2023 after getting set up on a date by some of their mutual friends. After spending a night kayaking at sunset and talking in the back of Josh’s 1995 Ford Ranger - they both knew this was something special! They started dating on October 27, 2023 (the same night Abby made Josh listen to the entirety of 1989 (Taylor’s Version)) and said “I love you” for the first time on December 25, 2023. The best christmas gift either of them has ever given or received. After many long conversations, walks in the park, weekend trips, sunsets, laughs, books read, romantic dates, and days spent thinking about their future, they decided that the only future they saw was together. Joshua proposed to Abby at Gray Whale Cove in Pacifica, California on April 12, 2025. After the sweetest proposal and an enthusiastic “YES” they were surprised by members of their family on the beach. It was the best day. And now we are here — the days leading up to one of the most monumental and joyous days of their lives. Abby and Joshua are getting married on September 15, 2025 and they couldn’t be happier!
