On a random Wednesday in January of 2016, Andrea decided she needed to take her life in a new direction and applied for a bartending gig at E11even Miami. After waiting for hours in line for an interview, she was quickly denied when reaching the first line of interviews. However, the interviewer asked Andrea if she was interested in a different position since she had noticed Andrea's prior work history as a banker. Andrea, quite desperate for an opportunity quickly said "YES!" and was then made to wait another few hours to interview with the one and only Kenneth Leonard. This was not love at first sight. In fact, during the interview between Andrea and Kenneth, she vividly remembers Kenneth calling her a "smart mouth" and too homely looking to be a bartender. However, despite the long wait and competing with another 369 prospects, Kenneth took a chance and hired the smart mouthed Latina girl. At first, Andrea and Kenneth's relationship was purely professional and platonic. As the years went by, however, that definitely changed: the once platonic feelings of friendship grew into something more. They supported each other through the highs and lows of club work, learned about each others fears and worries, made each other better people and became inseparable. In 2018, Kenneth decided to leave Miami for good after many years of club work. He wanted to start fresh where he grew up at the Lake of the Ozarks by buying a Charter Boat business. He asked Andrea to take a leap of faith in him and run away together to Missouri. Andrea, despite not knowing Lake of the Ozarks (or Missouri in fact) existed, agreed. They both packed up their apartments in Miami, Andrea said goodbye to her family, and followed Kenneth into the literal woods. Lake of the Ozarks is really where their love blossomed. Kenneth and Andrea knew NOTHING about running a charter business and it showed. The first year in Missouri was a crazy whirlwind of different lessons not only about the boating business but about life in the country and life together. If they believed they were inseparable before, it was nothing to how it would be after moving to the lake. Andrea and Kenneth both pride themselves in how much love, support, respect, and honesty they hold for one another. And they would never have gotten the chance to fall in love so deeply if it wasn't for their time at the Lake. In the many years they have been together, Andrea and Kenneth have traveled through Europe, said goodbye to beloved family and pets, said hello to a new one, bought a home together, traveled the US in different RV's, ran several businesses, made new friends, gone on countless adventures and built a beautiful life together.

This story actually begins in February 2023 in Paris, France. Andrea had ran (literally ran, this is not an exaggeration) up the steps of the Eiffel Tower in full make up and heels with Kenneth alongside her because she believed a proposal was about to take place at the very top. In fact, she was soo sure Kenneth was going to get down on one knee because "all the signs were there" of course. Kenneth being squirelly with his jacket (because of the pick-pockets obviously), they were in the city of love, and Kenneth's nervous disposition. It was about to go down. After fixing herself up in the bathroom due to her sprinting up the steps of the monument, no proposal came to pass. Later on the evening, after a lot of red wine (a lot), Andrea let Kenneth hear about her disappointment in the most articulate way (it was in fact not articulate she was very butt-hurt and allegedly intoxicated). Kenneth was stunned by her feelings because he was not sure Andrea even wanted to marry him. Even though they had a home, business together and about 6 years of a romantic courtship together. That night they both cleared the air about what they wanted: each other for whatever time life gave them. And so Kenneth began to plot in secret. On July 3, 2023, Andrea was sick of work after doubling everyday during the holiday weekend. It was her 30th birthday and she wanted some Jack and some time with Kenneth to celebrate. On her way out of the restaurant, excited to see Kenneth and maybe go boating, Kenneth alerts her to the fact his brother and his family were in town to visit. Andrea was all too happy to go see them because "the more the merrier." However, Kenneth had other plans. He actually reminded Andrea (very subtly) that the house was a mess and she need to go clean and prepare it before showing it to his brother. Begrudgingly, Andrea obliged and ran home (after working all day ON HER BIRTHDAY) to clean up the mess. Once whilst with family, they all decided on a birthday dinner at Fish Company, a local restaurant in their neighborhood. Everything was great with the idea except it was Fourth of July weekend at the Lake the Ozarks so a drink took about 2 hours to receive. Andrea was over it. All she wanted was some booze and attention, and there was none to be had. Hours later, after finally receiving some Jack some food and saying goodbye to his family, Kenneth offered Andrea some cake at the house. Andrea being a brat said "0fcourse I want some fucking cake its my damn birthday." Kenneth brought her out the cake and also asked if she wanted her gift that day, to which Andrea gave a dumb look and exasperatedly said yes. Kenneth walked over with a bag he claimed to be very heavy. Andrea yanked it out of his hands and made a point to tell him the bag was in fact not "heavy" as he claimed it to be. In their chaotic home, with their two dogs and two different birthday cakes, Andrea opened the gift bag and took out a wooden box. Andrea accused Kenneth of gifting her a puzzle for her birthday. Kenneth would like to make it a point that Andrea was being a BIG BRAT about the "puzzle" box. As you can imagine, the box was not a puzzle and the rest is history. Andrea and Kenneth are overfilled with joy at finally joining as a family and can't wait for you to be a part of the big day!
