Of all the places in the world, our story began in a little neighborhood on Carancahua Bay. In the summer of 2021 I, Danielle, was working virtually for a marketing company and was living at “the bay house.” One weekend, one of our mutual friends, Josh Holub, brought some friends to his parents’ bay house which is located in the same neighborhood. In Anthony’s words, “she was the cute girl next door” and in my words, “he was the cute, funny one with the curly, long hair.” This was the first time our paths crossed. Over the next few months, Anthony’s friend group opened their arms to me and my sister, Nikki. We celebrated birthdays in Houston, went bowling in Stafford, went out for drinks in Sugar Land, and had more fun weekends at the bay. Then, COINCIDENTALLY, when Anthony got a haircut, we had our first kiss. Fast forward, through Nikki’s college graduation party, Mardi Gras in Galveston, and tennis nights in Houston, on April 29, 2022, he asked me to be his girlfriend. Over the last three years, we’ve been on so many adventures. We’ve traveled to Europe and gone to golf tournaments throughout the US, spent many long weekends reuniting with college friends, cultivated the most amazing friend group that truly is family, celebrated many families’ and friends’ weddings together, and cherished our time with both sides of the family. There are so many adventures that still lie ahead. We cannot wait to make these memories with each and every one of you!
