They met the way all couples seem to have met at the beginning of COVID, online dating apps. Since it was the beginning of COVID they had decided on a nice walk with Alyse's fearless protector Scooby-Doo (who just dug for rocks the whole time). Now they say love happens at first sight, that was not in this case. Through the following months Alyse was posting snaps on her boat. Forrest started responding to these snaps (probs just to get on the boat) and eventually made it out for a lake day with Trulys in hand. Two of Alyse's best friends (Michelle and Josh) happened to be on the boat this day. They both looked at Alyse and were like "this isn't your type".....Jokes on them..... A month later, Forrest was invited out for a boat day where Alyse's family and friends were present... He proceeded to lose his phone and had the group look arms to try and find the phone in the water. Of course in every love story there must be conflict to boost the love in the air. There was a boat on the lake in need of help so of course we helped tow the boat to the opposite side of the lake, and in that moment, something between the two clicked. The following week (once Forrest figured out the phone situation), Forrest took Alyse out to Dave and Busters. Of course Alyse tried to play it cool and say "oh I dont drink too often" and followed it up by finishing her drink and asking Forrest if he was going to finish his....It was now love at first sight for Forrest... This night happened to be the week before the 4th of July, so of course Alyse asked Forrest to come to her 4th of July party (IYKYK). At this moment Forrest had two options..... Lake Tahoe boat party with a bunch of hot chicks (Dez's personal choice) or...... Alyse's house party and eventually decide to marry her........ I think you already know what he chose. For Forrest and Alyse it was not love at first sight, it is a love that grew into something beautiful. They brought in different thoughts, feelings, hobbies, and love to make something beautiful.
