Rachel and Devin’s story began in 2022. Like many modern beginnings, it began with a message on Instagram, simple, light-hearted, and unexpected. From the very first conversation, something just clicked. It felt easy. It felt right. It felt like the beginning of something real. They made it official on September 19th, 2022—a date that would quietly come to mean more than either of them realized at the time. Their love deepened through every season that followed. A summer of long-distance in 2023 taught them how to hold each other close, even from miles away. Senior year brought unexpected challenges as Rachel faced health struggles and a celiac diagnosis. Through every hospital visit and sleepless night, Devin stayed right beside her, offering strength, comfort, and unwavering love. In the middle of those trials, something beautiful began to grow: their faith. What started as small conversations turned into shared prayers, and soon their relationship was rooted not only in love for each other but in a growing love for Jesus. Their faith became their foundation, shaping their hearts and guiding their steps. In May 2024, they graduated together from Nova Southeastern University, and Rachel moved to Devin’s hometown in North Carolina to begin their next chapter. On September 19th, 2025, exactly three years after they started dating, Devin got down on one knee and asked Rachel to spend forever with him. Through happy tears, she said yes! Now, they’re preparing to marry on September 19th, 2026, continuing their tradition of choosing that date as the start of each new chapter. What began with a simple message has become so much more: a story of devotion, resilience, faith, laughter, and two hearts choosing each other again and again. They are deeply grateful for every moment that led them here and cannot wait to celebrate with you as they say “I do” and begin the next beautiful part of their journey, hand in hand, and always with love.
