We first met on a night out in Hoboken. It was September of 2021, Luke had just moved into his Hoboken apartment with his two friends, and Emily had been living there since May of that year. We were both out with our group of friends at separate places, and by chance the groups met each other at Mike’s Wild Moose Saloon, and that’s where our story began. We hung out and danced, and when the night was over, our friend groups decided to continue the night at one of our apartments. Little did we know we lived in the same building just 3 floors apart. The night turned into a day, and the days into weeks, and next thing we knew we were best friends, and a couple. We decided to move in together in March of 2023 in our first apartment in Union City, NJ. We lived there for just under two years, and in that time, grew a lot, loved a lot, hosted a lot, and got engaged! We are more in love than we ever thought imaginable, own a home together, have a dog, and are building a beautiful life. We are so excited to take the next step and become the Lawlers!
