Hey Family! It’s Janeese, Robert allowed me to write this from my point of view… I’ll try my best to be unbiased, but I make no promises 🫣 Our story begins summer of 2011, scrolling, swiping left and right. I stumbled across this man in a suit in a sea full of bare chests and other parts. I had to compliment him, so I did. He replied and we haven’t stopped talking since. Sept 7, 2011 we officially became a couple. Two weeks later he said something I thought neither of us took seriously at the time, “You know I’m gonna marry you, right?” I course replied swiftly and sweetly “yeah, aight.” If only we knew then… Well I guess he knew and I needed to catch up. After a few years traveling back and forth we decided to be “grown” and move in together. Living together tested us in ways in doubt either of us ever expected, but was always seemed to make it past the chaos and choose each other. Then April 19th, 2015 one Sunday before church; after one of the biggest fights we ever had (we didn’t even argue), he proposed. I said yes! May 14th, 2016, we became husband and wife. He literally carried me through our first dance because I was on one leg 😅. Now here we are 10 years and 3 amazing big kids later. I wouldn’t trade this ride for the world. 💕
