We're getting married!

As fate (and the internet) would have it, two dietitians crossed paths online in January 2022. Amanda was getting ready for ICU rounds and was taken aback when she received a witty message from Dan. It turns out his opener wasn’t just an ordinary pick-up line—it was about tube feeds. One perfectly timed nutrition one-liner was all it took, and Amanda was hooked. Dietitian humor might not win over everyone, but in this case, it sealed the deal and had Amanda distracted for the rest of the day. From that moment, conversations flowed and soon enough, late-night chats turned into real-life dates. Between enjoying hot pot, axe throwing and Amanda studying for the CNSC exam as she watched Dan detail cars, it became clear this was something special within those first few months. Amanda even got Dan to discover his love for coffee that he never knew existed... you’re welcome. Over the years, a relationship rooted in shared values was built, inside jokes only dietitians could love, and a deep appreciation for life’s simple joys (and cool views). It didnt take long for Amanda and Dan to move in together, add a third member to their family (Hi, Garbanzo Bean!) and decide they want to travel to even more National Parks and eat snacks together forever. They cant wait to celebrate their love with all of you!
