Hilary and Abi have known each other since they were babies! The bride's mom (AKA Auntie Bing) would even buy them matching dresses. Hilary met JT her junior year of high school - basically when they were just bigger babies. If ANYONE knows Hilary, they know that she is a MASTER of ALL MUSIC GENRES! She could beat anyone naming any lyrics of any artist - it's a real talent! Hilary's stereotype at the wedding is the upbeat girl getting everyone dancing (but will also be seen sitting down in the corner of the reception because her little feet will be secretly hurting). If Hilary could be a Starbucks drink, she would be a green tea lemonade with light ice - an unexpected pairing that's refreshing and a certified "go-to"! She is very excited to see how the night-to-remember will play out!!
Joshua Landenberger
Best Man
Josh is JT's little brother - so they've known each other since birth :) Josh met Abi when he was just 12 years old in 6th grade! 👶 They met at one of JT's senior volleyball games 🏐 most likely when Abi was scared to first also meet their mom, who Abi did not know at the time would be her future mother-in-law! 😱 One of Josh's funniest and fondest memories was being the 3rd wheel for countless dates Abi and JT have had throughout the years. ❤️ If Josh was a Starbucks drink, he would be an iced Mocha - because he's a cool guy with a bittersweet taste 😎 He is really looking forward to seeing his big brother get married and having a fun time at the wedding! 😊

Soyoun first met Abi at the University of Hawaii in a tutoring club, as they both worked in the library - Soyoun was tutoring math while Abi was tutoring chemistry! 🤓 Something interesting about Abi's Korean bae is that in middle school, she was in ACROBATICS CLUB!!!! Her wedding stereotype is of course - to be the person that breaks the champagne glasses when the clinkers go off screaming, "NOW KISSS!!!!!!!!" 🍾 Soyoun's Starbucks drink, if she were to be one is a * QUAD Iced Espresso * - medstudents, of course! What she is most excited about the wedding for is seeing Abi and JT in their "happily ever after" ♡

Eliezer is the first cousin of the Bride and Maid of Honor. He is a fantastic chef with a culinary degree and a Heart of Gold! 👨🍳 He grew up in the mountains of Baguio, Philippines & would ball ANYONE up any day 🏀! He is an extremely wise, intelligent, kind, and patient person. He has been an essential part to both the Bride, Maid of Honor & Groom - Eliezer has provided importance life guidance to all of them throughout the years. When you don’t find him exploring business entrepreneur ventures, you will easily find him singing AMAZINGLY in the shower 🎤 or cooking dinner for our whole Filipino household of TOO MANY TOO COUNT! 🍖🍖🍖 We are all very thankful to have Eliezer as a part of our lives and are happy to have him to celebrate alongside with us on our very special day!

Zara met Abi during a social mixer the 1st week of Med School. She immediately noticed that Abi was super friendly after Abi walked up & openly introduced herself. Abi then disappeared and continued to do this to literally everyone else in the building; this first impression left Zara confused if Abi even wanted to be friends with her! Zara threw a Halloween party once where her mom cooked for everyone–Abi proceeded to eat 5 full plates & Zara was in SHOCK of how someone who loves food so much could somehow still be skinny! Zara would be a Strawberry Refresher Lemonade. She is sweet - but DEFINITELY has a tart&sassy side to her! “I am looking forward to seeing one of my best friends walk down the aisle with the love of her life! I want nothing more than to be a part of Abi’s big day♥”
Julian Romero Phillips

Julian met them when he was 23, during “the most impulsive and irresponsible stage of my life 😁” His super power is to bring a feeling of warmth to a room & help people open up. Julian is just ‘a big fat nerdy kid underneath this blanket of sexiness’. His wedding stereotype is the ‘loud drunk guy at the party!’ His first impression of JT was Tall, professional, eloquent, wise, & reserved. While for Abi it was energetic, outgoing, & scatter-brained! Complete opposites! His funniest memory was when Abi’s Mario-Go-Kart died on the FREEWAY in JAPAN! If he was a Starbucks drink, he would be Cold Brew, because “I'm extremely refreshing and energetic on a hot summer day”! 💪 Julian is looking forward to enjoying the live band from Hawaii both Abi & JT love – super nostalgic & romantic!

Ananya's first impression of Abi in their 7th grade science class was that she was extremely annoying and persistent - which is how they ended up becoming friends! One time Ananya got so mad at Abi, that she poured water over her head.. & that’s also how she got detention. “Moral of the story, if you want a lifelong friend who will eventually be your bridesmaid after 10 years, annoy them a lot and be persistent no matter how mean they are to you and eventually you’ll work your way into their heart! (aww)” Despite their opposite personalities, Abi and Ananya both understand that being in a committed and God-centered relationship in today’s world can be extremely difficult - but a sister in Christ that we can trust and lean on through trials in life is more valuable than finding Gold. 💖

Louis first met the couple years ago, during his intern year of psychiatry residency in the distant islands of Hawaii🌊 His funniest memory was when Abi was doing high-speed rock climbing & saw the sheer horror on JT’s face trying to keep up with Abi on the rappel gear😂 Louis believes the couple picked him for his “meme potential" & his wedding stereotype is, you guessed it, the “Asian doctor nerd who likes anime and video games”♡ His favorite song is “Ocean Avenue” by Yellowcard – but he LOVES “I Do” by Ilaria Graziano 🎌 If Louis was a Starbucks drink, he would be a Green Tea Mocha Latte with 1 pump of dark, dry humor. 😐 “Majority of my wedding attendances in the past are political feeding grounds for familial jackals. I look forward for a quaint evening among friends for once.”

Katie has known Abi growing up as young kids in elementary school and have shared so many memories over the years. ❤️ From school trips, passing notes during class, going to the mall or the movies, to hanging out spending hours simply talking about life & so much more! Katie feels incredibly honored to be able to be part of Abi &JT’s special day after watching them fall in love over the years and can’t wait to see them walk down the aisle after saying “I do”!! 🔔💒🎊

Polo calls himself JT and Abi’s "Made in China" friend. They all met back in high school when they were super “nerdy” 🤫 Abi was a nerdy gamer 🎮 & JT was nerdy in math📖! They have been roommates forever, moving from multiple locations across three different cities. Polo's favorite memories of the couple are... beating Abi in a card game called Magic the Gathering, going on PokémonGo raid hunts JT, & trying to convince both of them that he was always the "good guy" in their favorite social deduction board game called "Avalon"! Polo looks forward to showing off his AWARD-WINNING BALLROOM DANCE moves on the dance floor during the reception!

Krista first met Abi in the crazy journey called "Medical School", & they've been amazing support systems to each other ever since! They bonded over their love for adventure, music, socializing & CATS! 🐱 Krista's funniest memory was when Abi drove them to campus during the first week of school, & made a wrong turn. Abi literally jumped the curb and drove across the grass at LMU to get to the right street! When Krista realized she they didn't die, they both busted out laughing! Krista describes how the couple has grown throughout the years as "truly special & incredible to witness". If Krista was a Starbucks drink, she'd be a Tall Blonde Latte ;) She is a sucker for the vows and can't promise she won't cry- she plans to showcase ALL HER AWESOME WHITE GIRL MOVES ON THE DANCE FLOOR!

Gary met JT when he was 16 years old at Hawaiian Mission Academy. Gary’s first impression of JT is that wow, he is a serious guy, while his impression of Abi was how friendly and very active she was! One of the memories Gary has of them in high school was when he caught the couple (secretly) holding hands outside of class, talking to friends as usual. When Gary asked Abi about why they were holding hands later, Abi got super mad and embarrassed! 🤣 Despite being a typical homebody, he actually LOVES traveling and would be jet setting all the time if he could! This Hong Kong citizen also harnesses the SUPER POWER of being AMAZING IN MATH!🤓 If Gary had to guess why the couple picked him to join their wedding party, it would be because “…I'm handsome, that's only thing I have”.
