A good friend knows all your best stories, but a best friend has lived them with you. Kody and I have been best friends since High School. We are always on the same page and can often finish each other's thoughts. If you ever need someone to read my mind or figure out exactly how I am feeling, go to Kody, because he always knows.

Cara and I met in middle school band. Enough said. Don't tell her I said this but I've looked up to her since she introduced me to Cobra Starship when I was 12 and she is one of the absolute best people I know. She is also the only person on this planet who can get away with calling me a brat.

Jesus was my battle buddy at Miami. We have shared more time together than I think I have with any of my friends. We worked hours on end in our make-shift war rooms at Miami and pushed each to gain acceptance into dental school and medical school. If there is one guy I want in my foxhole when times get tough, it's Dr. Salas. "It's easy, not hard!"

Oh man, where do I start? Patrick and I have been through it all. From pre-gaming breakfast in Armstrong to getting through grad school together, Patrick has been one of my best friends since I braided his hair freshman year at Miami. Thank god we both have better hair now.
Andrew Terhaar

Oftentimes, if I want to know how I can be a better friend to somebody, I think about Andrew Terhaar and what he does for everyone lucky enough to call him a friend. He is the most likeable person I have ever met and is way too humble to accept it. I’ll never forget the amazing times we shared when we lived together in college.

Seth Klein might as well be my mom. From hiding bottles of Captain Morgan in his dorm (sorry mom) to sharing his grandma's matzo ball soup, Seth is one of the most unwaveringly supportive, loving, and enthusiastic people on this planet. He is one of the best people I have ever met in my life and I couldn't get married without him next to me. "Oh, hi Mark!"
Garrett Stevensen

Garrett is one of the most genuinely kind, fun people around. From our years on cymbal line together to getting to live together my senior year at Miami, Garrett makes every good time better. One of the highlights of marching band (besides meeting Rachel) was hearing Garrett yell our drumline vocals. Garrett is always up for anything and has the ability to make you feel like the most important person in the room.

I have the high privilege of getting to call this incredible artist and phenomenal woman my big sister. I’ve been trying to be 50% as cool as her since I was a toddler and that will probably never change. She has been the best role model I could ask for since day one.

Logan was the first friend I made in undergrad at Miami all those years ago! Between 2 years of living together and 8 years friendship, Logan's the person I call for advice on anything and everything. Logan is one of the most interesting people I know and his passion for learning is unmatched. Fun fact, Rachel and I met in his house!

Mia and I have been the ultimate dream team since we were 3 years old. We've been long distance best friends for the past 19 years and the shenanigans have never stopped. Mia is the single most hilarious person I have ever met and she always finds a way to say the last thing you expect. We have enough inside jokes to fill one of her mom's books but it's been so long that neither of us remember the context anymore. No event (or shenanigan) is complete without Mia’s presence.

Matt is my day 1 dental school homie. From our first few months partying to our next few years shaping our futures in our profession, Matt has been there through it all. While we may come from rival highschools, we've since buried the hatchet (and taken turns picking each other up from the occassional inebriated stumble). Matt has been there through every rough patch dental school has brought and he reminds me to get out of the lab and make time for fun. And he has a great jaw line.

I have never seen Chelsey do less than 7 things at once but somehow she manages to do them all with 110% of her passion, energy, and never ending dad jokes. Future Dr. Miller is here to dance like a suburban mom at a barbeque and she's not ashamed. "Yeet *dab*"

Lee is just the best. End of story. He is one of the kindest, loveliest, most genuine souls on this planet and I swear he could walk into a stranger's house and leave with 20 new friends, an invitation to Thanksgiving, and a godson. He's THAT personable. Lee is one of those people that makes everything better. After the many times he's walked me home from very respectable social gatherings, it's only fitting that he's there when I walk down the aisle.

Hayden is an amazing leader and organizer. He's one of those people that makes things happen. It's been 5 years since we've lived together but he never let's me fall off the face of the earth. His adventurous spirit challenges me and all of his friends to live their best lives. He's also been known to throw a pretty damn good party (unless you ask our old neighbors).

In dental school we always have to sit alphabetically and I've never been more glad that K & L are next to each other in the alphabet. I've been lucky to spend so much time next to such a kind, giving, hard working guy like Ivan. Through hundreds of hours we've spent studying (and playing Ipad games -Rachel) and thousands of pages of notes, we've supported each other through every challenge dental school has brought. Ivan unfortunately cannot attend the wedding due to military officer training but he is still an important part of our day & our lives.
