Jonathon and Kylie met at the start of freshman year at Kaynor Tech High School in August of 2011. Kylie was super nervous to start at a school with LOTS of kids from different towns for the first time. Jonathon on the other hand got lucky, and most of the kids coming from Wolcott ended up being in class with him, so being himself was as easy as it comes! In the first couple weeks of school, her nerves were settled when she met Jonathon; the funny, witty, and giggly kid who sat a couple seats away. As time went by and they got more comfortable around each other, they became best friends. While life after high school eventually took them down different paths with school, work, and relationships, they kept in touch occasionally. They gave each other great advice along the way and helped them to see the value in themselves. In 2020, Jonathon decided to shoot his shot and ask Kylie to dinner to catch up. They had such an amazing time and the conversation flowed as though they had never spent any time apart. It took a while for them to classify themselves as "dating" though, which was comical if you ended up in the cross fire of that. Being friends for as long as they were made it confusing to figure out if he liked her the way she liked him, and vice versa. They spent many months together getting to know each other on a deeper level and fell more and more into their feelings. On April 24th 2021, they decided their feelings were undeniable and OFFICIALLY declared themselves a couple! From here, they spent 4 amazing years falling deeply in love with one another, laughing every single day, and communicating in ways they didn't know they could. This relationship was different than any others in the past and they both knew that there was no one else in the world that could make them feel as loved and supported as they made each other. On May 3rd 2025, in upstate New York on an intimate vacation, Jonathon decided it was time to get on one knee and tell Kylie exactly how he felt and that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. Of course she was over the moon and said YES! We shared our news with our family and friends and cannot wait to plan our special day! We look forward to forever with each other and are so glad you're all here to witness our union!
