Question

What time should I arrive to each event?

Answer

Plan to arrive at approximately 10:30 AM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 11:00 AM. Guests invited to the reception may arrive as early as 3:15 PM. Cocktail hour will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. No entry permitted into reception after 4:45 PM. If your schedule conflicts, please communicate that to the bride and groom prior to the event. Appropriate arrangements will be made.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Ceremony: Parking is available in the building's south parking lot. Additional parking is available along the east side of Halsted Street. Reception: Parking instructions are located on the back of the reception card provided with your mailed invitation.

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your children—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Let the babysitter do the work. Enjoy a fantastic date night on us!

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Black Tie As a little girl, the bride watched her parents attend annual Black Tie Affairs. Each year, she looked forward to seeing her dad in his black tuxedo, crisp white shirt, and bow tie, and wondered what evening gown her mom would choose next! Each year, she sat back and admired her parents, and secretly wished she could attend the glamorous and regal event. So, to the little girl who never got to accompany her parents to the annual Black Tie Affair... Here's your chance! (To all guests: Feel free to wear what makes you feel most comfortable. But, if you're feeling fancy... Let's get fancy!)
