We're Getting Married!

Senior year of high school Emily and Kory were introduced by a mutual friend. Over the next few months, the two become good friends. In January of 2019, Emily took a leap of faith and asked Kory on their first date to the dog park. Over the next few months, they grew very close. The two enjoyed getting coffee, watching movies and football games, going to the gym together, getting dinner and spending time with their friends and family. March 14th, 2019, Kory asked to be his girlfriend! August of 2019, Kory started college at Anoka Ramsey community college and Emily started college at Mankato State University. Over the next 2 years the couple did long distance driving back and forth on the weekends to see one another. August of 2021, Kory moved to Mankato and started attending Mankato State University. Emily started the nursing program, and Kory started the civil engineering program. May 10th, 2023, on a trip to San Diego, Kory proposed to Emily on Coronado beach, where she said yes! They spent the rest of their trip celebrating their engagement and soaking up the sun. July of 2023, the couple moved into their first apartment together! Later that year Emily graduated college with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. May of 2024, Kory graduated college with his degree in Bachelor of Science in civil engineering. The couple then moved back home for the summer before moving in their current apartment.
