FAQs

We've anticipated some questions you might have and answered them below. If you are not finding your question, please feel free to reach out to us!
Question

Are masks required?

Answer

Yes, for everyone's safety, we are asking that you wear a mask whenever possible. For example, upon entering and moving between rooms, getting food or drinks, and exiting. We want to celebrate safely!

Question

Is it possible to social distance?

Answer

Yes, our venue is spacious and can normally accommodate a much larger wedding than ours. Thus, there will be space for social distancing.

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is semi-formal. This means tuxes and gowns are welcome as well as suits or cocktail dresses.

Question

When should I RSVP by? How do I RSVP?

Answer

We'd love for you to RSVP as soon as possible after receiving your invitation, so that we can plan accordingly. However, we at least need you to RSVP by January 29th at the latest. You can RSVP by simply sending us your card insert from your invitation or by using our RSVP tab on our website!

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place? Are they indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wonderful venue has both a ceremony and reception place so we can all celebrate together! The ceremony and reception are both taking place indoors at our venue--The Milestone | Aubrey. The address and a map can be found on our Schedule page.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #ANewKyle so we can keep track of all of your pictures! However, we also have a very talented photographer to capture our special day, so please be mindful of keeping your phone/camera off during our ceremony, so that we can all be fully present together.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Since we live in Texas, weather can be really tricky to predict. However, our wedding is in an indoor venue, so you don't need to be too concerned about the weather.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We are mainly registered with Bed Bath and Beyond but have also picked a few things from Zola. You can easily view all of our requested items on the registry page of our website. If you visit your local Bed Bath and Beyond, they can also provide you with a printout of our registry.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have listed the Embassy Suites in Denton as our main hotel recommendation. You can visit the Travel page of our website to easily find the link to the hotel. However, there are also plenty of other hotel options in Denton.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is a parking lot on the right side of the venue as you drive up with plenty of spots for all of our guests!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

While we are not able to provide transportation from the hotel to the venue, there are several rideshare options for you to use if you'd like. For example, Uber and Lyft.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party and family will be taking pictures nearby for a little bit. Guests can head straight to the reception hall where we will be serving an appetizer and beverages.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, our venue is wheelchair accessible.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes, we are going to be serving a buffet-style dinner.

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?
