Cloud Gate (aka The Bean!!)
This is a Chicago classic. Makes for a great photo op, plus Millenium Park is beautiful during the summer! Take a stroll through the gardens, to the lakefront, or to Buckingham Fountain, where we walked on our first date!
Cindy's Rooftop
This is an awesome bar in the heart of the south loop with absolutely incredible views of the fountain, Millenium park, and the lake. We love this place not only for its great drinks, and killer views, but also because of the beautiful building it's in. The Chicago Athletic Association has so much history, and it's definitely worth a visit for a nightcap or a mid-day pick me up.
Lincoln Park Zoo
This is the best family/kid friendly thing to do in the city. It's totally free and open 8am-5pm. The adjacent gardens are gorgeous and it really feels like the perfect oasis in the city. The lion house and the sea otter exhibit are my personal favs.
