Dave and Eliana met through a mutual friend when they were just 19 and 20 years old. From the very start, there was something different. They quickly knew that no matter what life brought, they would be in each other’s lives forever. They began as friends first. And those three years of friendship built the strongest foundation, filled with laughter, trust, and a deep understanding of one another. What started naturally and effortlessly grew into something undeniable. After three years of knowing each other, on November 13th 2019, Dave and Eliana began dating seriously, already certain that what they had was rare. Nearly three years later, on Sunday, September 18th, 2022, on the beach with their fur baby bowser, Dave asked Eliana to spend the rest of their lives together, and it was the easiest yes of her life. It was the perfect next chapter to a story that had been unfolding so beautifully from the beginning. From the get-go, Sunday, has always been their day. One Sunday, they decided to travel down to Cape May, which has always held a special place in their hearts. Over the years, it became their place, full of memories, quiet moments, and dreams about the future. One day, after spending time exploring the charming streets and beaches they love oh so much, they stumbled upon The Grand Hotel. In that moment, they just knew. It felt right. It felt like them. And they knew that Cape May was where they had to begin their forever. Now, they can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter of their story — surrounded by the people they love most, in the place and on the day of the week that has meant so much to them from the very beginning.
