Tinder… lol. No, but seriously. We matched on Tinder and about a week later we went on our first date to Flying Pie Pizzeria. After that we were pretty much inseparable. About 3 months into our relationship we found out we were pregnant with Kohen. (Funny story, we hadn’t even told each other that we loved each other yet! Though I knew about a month in. I just wanted him to say it first.)

On our 2023 family trip to the Oregon coast, I was on a foggy beach stroll with Samantha, Brandon’s mom, and Kohen. Through the fog, we saw Brandon emerge and he joined us casually, taking Kohen from me and holding him tight in his arms. Under his breath he told his mom to take pictures and videos. The two boys turned to me and as I held my phone up attempting to capture a photo of them, he yelled at me telling me to put my phone down. In that moment, I knew exactly what he was doing. So as I rolled my eyes and put my phone away, he got down on one knee, son in hand, and blurted out, “Will you marry me?!” And of course I said yes!
