Is There a Dress Code?

The attire is Black Tie. Guests are invited and encouraged to help us celebrate in style! Please indulge us by making our day special and dressing to the nines! Ladies: Formal Floor-Length Evening Gowns (color is encouraged!) Gentlemen: Tuxes or Dark Colored Suits Bridesmaids will be wearing brown. Ladies, we kindly ask you to avoid wearing any shade of white, ivory, cream, champagne, or other colors traditionally reserved for the bride.

How & When Should I Rsvp?

We kindly ask that all RSVPs be submitted no later than July 24th. Your timely response is very much appreciated - If we do not hear from you by July 24th, we will assume you are unable to attend and will miss celebrating with us.

What Time Should I Arrive to the Ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30 PM. We recommend arriving by 6:15 PM to find your seat and enjoy all the special moments. Please allow extra time for Chicago traffic, which can turn a 5-minute drive into 30 minutes. Out of respect for the ceremony, late arrivals will not be permitted once the processional begins. Where Are the Ceremony and the Reception Taking Place?

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place at the Adler Planetarium. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, followed by an indoor reception. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Kindly note that this event is for adults only, and we are unable to accommodate children. We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation!

Can I Bring a Date?

If a specific date was provided on your invitation, your guest's name has already been included. Unfortunately, due to the venue's capacity limitations, we are unable to accommodate additional guests unless a plus one was explicitly extended. Thank you for your understanding!

Ridesharing services like Uber and Lyft are the primary way to get to and from the celebration. Please note that there is no parking available at the venue. Wishing you safe and easy travels!

We kindly ask that all phones and cameras be put away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present in the moment. Our photographer will capture all the special memories, and we look forward to sharing the photos with you afterward.
