When should I arrive at the ceremony?

Arriving to the venue 30 minutes early is a great idea to allow time for you to be sure you find the venue, parking, and any unexpected Milwaukee traffic.

Speaking of parking- where is parking?

Answer

Great question! Street parking is always an option but is available on a first come first serve basis! There is also a parking structure available near the venue at- Water Street Parking Structure 225 E. Chicago Street Structure Booth: 414.727.2482 Cost is around 16-20 dollars to park here. They have different timeframes for parking pricing available. You would just pull a ticket when you park and then you pay upon exit depending on the length of time you are parked there. If you are staying at our hotel block there is parking there & we will have a shuttle available to take guests to and from the venue & hotel.

Can I bring my children?

We love your children but we are asking to have this as an adult-only evening unless specifically addressed in your invite.

What should I wear?

Answer

Dress code is semi-formal/cocktail attire. We ask you avoid wearing white, creams, or ivory.

Are the ceremony and reception in the same place?

Answer

Yes! Our ceremony & reception will both be located at The Starling!

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Both! Our venue is located right on the pier, giving us the beautiful view looking out to the water. With weather permitting we hope to have the ceremony and cocktail hour on the pier, followed by moving inside for dinner and dancing! Again as long as weather allows we will have an indoor and outdoor bar available.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! Drinks are on us but the hangover is on you!

Can I bring a guest or date?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we will only be able to accommodate those specifically listed with a plus one on their invitation. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
