Torey and Tyler first met at DePaul University where they both lived in University Hall. They were introduced through mutual friends and have been attached at the hip ever since. The two quickly became close friends through late night quad hangouts, film photography shoots and Cubs games. Their friendship grew stronger over freshman year of college and Tyler finally worked up the courage to ask Torey on their first date… to the DePaul Student Center. Who would have thought that date would turn into 8 whole years! Throughout their 8 years together, Tyler and Torey have enjoyed countless unforgettable memories together; movies, concerts, nights out in Chicago, ski trips, and witnessing the Cubs win the World Series, just to name a few.

In December of 2021, Tyler proposed to Torey underneath the iconic “Wedding Tree” in the Bridger-Teton National Forest. The two celebrated the proposal with a long weekend of skiing, hiking and dancing at The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar in Jackson, Wyoming. It was truly the perfect trip. They cannot wait to continue their journey together and celebrate with all their friends and family who’ve been alongside them.
