How Kendall remembers it: We were introduced to one another be Molly Gelin, now Molly Soliz, at Kildares, on St. Patrick's Day. It was a quick introduction then I went back to playing thumper. We likley ran into each other several times after due to having a lot of the same friends, however, it was not until one night at Brother's we really hit it off. Mac had flirted with me here and there at Brother's. One night I recall him trying very hard while Susan Thompason and I were at the bar. He bought us fireball shots that we likely did not need. It was a few weeks later at the same bar, we ran into each other again. He was wearing a white button down henley, kind of looking like Jack from the Titantic. I have never told him that, so he will get a kick out of reading that! We immediately locked eyes and started talking, drinking, having a blast and the rest is history.
How Mac remembers it: Our first introduction to each other was through a mutual friend, Molly Gelin, now Molly Soliz, on St. Patrick's Day. Distracted by surrounding friends, a crowded bar, and the Holiday's tradition of being overserved with Jameson resulted in a quick hello and then parting ways. It was not until one afternoon, when a group of friends and I decided to grab a beer at a campus bar, O Patio. Thankfully, no one else on campus had the same idea, which led to an empty bar and only one bartender working - Kendall. It was then I knew just how gorgeous she was and how the next time our paths would cross via mutual friends I would not let the opportunity to make a move pass. The time for our paths to cross would come just shortly thereafter at the most popular place to be on a Thursday night at Ohio State, Brothers on Park St. Kendall was at the corner of the bar as you walked in, so I immediately noticed her, surrounded by our mutual friends. The perfect opportunity. I remember buying some shots of Fireball for her and some friends and the night had passed and so did my opportunity to make my move. This time, the tradition of being overserved with Crown on Thursdays was the likely reason. A few weeks later, our paths would cross once more on another Thursday night at the same bar, in the same corner, however this time we locked eyes. 7 years later they're still locked.
