FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP as soon as you can so we can organize with our vendors. However, the deadline to RSVP is September 9th, 2026.

Question

What if I can't make it?

Answer

Your presence will be missed! We ask that you RSVP "No" as soon as possible. If you have already RSVP'd "Yes" but find that your plans have changed, please notify the bride at (760) 473-9305 as soon as possible.

Question

What if I did not RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by September 9th, 2026, it will automatically be marked "No." We will miss celebrating with you but it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given us. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive by 3:45 PM to find parking and grab your ceremony cocktail. Festivities will begin at 4:00 PM.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal, please! Feel free to wear anything from suits and gowns to cocktail attire, but not overly formal. Aim for a refined look that's comfortable for celebrating while keeping in mind the weather. If you are unsure - it's always better to be overdressed than underdressed! Wear whatever color you'd like, but please no white. Please keep in mind that the ceremony is on the lawn so ladies may want to be cautious of their heels.

Question

What are the wedding colors?

Answer

The bridesmaids will be in terracotta and the groomsmen will be in forest green suits. Our colors match our location - woodsy, greens, creams.

Question

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony is outside on the lawn, snow or sun! Bring a coat or jacket. Tahoe weather can be pretty unpredictable! Our cocktail hour and reception will be held indoors.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, only guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one, they will appear on your invitation and RSVP section of our website.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, we really do! However, we respectfully request no little ones on this night other than immediate family members' children. If you are unsure if that includes you, please refer to your formal wedding invite. We hope you take this as an opportunity to enjoy a fun date night!

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

The venue can accommodate up to 60 vehicles; however, we strongly encourage you to take an Uber or stay on Camp Richardson to walk. The road to Valhalla is windy and not well-lit. Vehicles CANNOT be left overnight!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

First, thank you so much for traveling the distance to spend our special day with us! We have provided a list of accommodations under our travel tab with links provided for each location. You do not have to choose lodging listed, but we hope it helps in your search!

Question

Can I take photos and videos at the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We would love to see your POV of both the ceremony and reception. We kindly ask that you pay attention to our photographer so as not to interfere with her shots. She may also ask you to put your phone down as well.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

As the mother of the bride says, "is a pig's ass pork?"
