let's celebrate!

EJ and Chelsea were introduced days into Chelsea moving to California, by one of their best friends, Casidy. The connection was magnetic from the start, but it took months for them to finally be in the right space to go on a date. After a few months of dating, EJ asked Chelsea to officially "be his girlfriend" in October 2019. They have been inseparable ever since - not only as lovers but best friends.

EJ and Chelsea always had Colorado in their long term life plans, but when COVID hit, their priorities and timeline shifted. After months of searching they found their perfect home and went under contract by December 2020. EJ's grandfather had passed away just a few short weeks before closing day. One of the family's dearest memories was of him and EJ’s grandmother sitting on their front porch, in their swing, watching the world and talking about life. Cue EJ's proposal inspiration. On closing day, when purchasing their new home, EJ led Chelsea out on the front porch, took her by the hand and said, “you know, we’ve been looking at all these houses. And when you drive down a street of homes, all you see are houses and their exterior facade. But when you see your house, you don’t look at any of that. You just see memories.” EJ then kneeled on bent knee and asked if Chelsea was ready to make new memories & asked for her hand in marriage. Chelsea said YES! to her true love on the porch of their home while her family cheered and rushed to surround them.

Chelsea & EJ eloped under the same desert sky where our love began. Our day was filled with all the things we loved and because it was just us, we were able to be as present as possible. Just us and our love. Forever & ever.
