We're getting married!!

Some love stories are written in the stars — ours just happened to start with Greek life and the universe. We met in college through our sorority and fraternity. Gabriella was just starting University of New Orleans in the fall of 2020. At the same time, Ethan was enrolled at university but decided a different path for his life. It was not until a group chat was made combining the two greek chapters that our paths were crossed. It was fate. We started chatting back and forth instantly, and the conversation flew. We shared our love of sushi and coffee. Gabriella took Ethan to her favorite frozen coffee place, Puccinos, and instantly, Ethan was hooked, not only on the coffee but on Gabriella. We talked, laughed, and felt a strong connection. Then came November 11, 2020 Ethan planned it perfectly and purposely. At exactly 11:11 am on November 11th, Ethan asked Gabriella out. (Yes — really. And yes, we still make a wish every time we catch 11:11.) Our first date was simple — mini golf and beignets in City Park — but it felt like the start of something real. And it was. We grew together through the wins and loses of life (and Ethan's lose of our mini golf game). A few years later, Ethan brought Gabriella back to City Park, walking past the same location of our first date, he stopped behind me, got down on one knee, pulled out a ring and asked me to marry him. She said yes. (Through happy tears, of course.) Now here we are — getting married! We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you, surrounded by the people who’ve been part of our journey.
