Santa Barbara or Los Angeles
Getting to Santa Barbara is simple and scenic! You can fly directly into Santa Barbara Airport (SBA), located just minutes from town. If flights into SBA are limited, Los Angeles (LAX) is a great alternative, about 1.5–2 hours away. From there, you have several easy options.
Train
Amtrak Pacific Surfliner
Take the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner from Los Angeles Union Station to Santa Barbara. From LAX, you can take a quick Uber or the FlyAway bus to Union Station before boarding. Total travel time: ~2.5–3 hours (plus transfer time)
