They bonded over their wide taste in music, love for their college football teams, and appetite to consistently travel out of the city. They soon after became roommates, travel buddies, and the best of friends. It should also be mentioned that Sawyer is one of the most talented and versatile musicians of Kyle’s friends. Washington D.C. Kelsey and Amelia met through Chi Omega at Clemson. They immediately bonded over their love for dance and trash TV, and have become like family over the years. Amelia just got married to our lovely officiant, Zack, on New Years Eve and it is also worth noting that she introduced the bride and the groom! If you’re looking for Amelia at the wedding, she’ll be the one singing along to every song despite not actually knowing any of the words.

Pittsburg, PA Jerry and Kyle are lifelong friends and met in the first grade at Bingham Elementary in Bristol, CT. They grew up inseparable – playing multiple sports on the same teams, attending the same summer camps, and even taking family vacations together. Their friendship continues through annual trips, spontaneous FaceTimes, and their love for the Red Sox. If you’re looking for Jerry at the wedding, he will be the one on the dance floor swirling the Steelers’ Terrible Towel.

Orange County, CA Erin and Kelsey also met through Chi Omega. They share a love for their Atlanta roots, country music, and Pilates. Erin was the first of the four college roomies to get married within a calendar year. Her husband is groomsman, Austin. They recently moved to Orange County and got the cutest golden puppy, Henley. Against all odds, Erin and Kelsey were not only lucky enough to live together in college, but also lived right down the road from each other in San Francisco. If Eminem is played at the reception, just get out of the way and hand her the mic.

Bristol, CT Brendan and Kyle are lifelong friends and met in the first grade at Bingham Elementary in Bristol, CT. They grew up in the same neighborhood and were always at each other’s houses after school and on the weekends. They kept their friendship strong by going on annual summer vacations together, whether that were drives from CT to FL, cruises to the Bahamas, or a post-graduation Vegas trip. Ponte Vedra Beach, FL Emma Grace is Kelsey's little sister. Their 12 year age difference doesn't stop them from always having fun and having many common interests. There's a high likelihood they show up almost anywhere wearing the same outfit, and they're the ones voluntold to do anything artistic for the family... Usually a last minute request by their brother Will. Emma Grace keeps Kelsey young. So if you’re looking for her at the wedding, she’ll be the one teaching all the millennials how to use tiktok.
Myles Franklin

Los Angeles, CA Myles and Kyle met in 2017, during their first year in San Francisco. They bonded over their love for music and baseball, and ultimately became roommates in the Marina District. Myles and Kyle have remained close, even after they both recently left San Francisco. It should also be mentioned that Myles is an incredible music producer and artist. If you’re looking for Myles at the wedding, he will be the one behind the DJ making sure the right song is queued up for the crowd.

Washington D.C. Erin and Kelsey were also sorority sisters and roommates at Clemson. During those years, it was unlikely to find one of them without the other whether that be at a frat party, football game, or watching New Girl in their apartment. These days, Erin is a speech language pathologist in DC and is getting married in May! She is NOT the friend to call if you need help killing a spider, but she is the friend to call for absolutely anything else.

Charlotte, NC Richard and Kyle met in 2012 as pledge brothers at Clemson University. Whether Richard truly had a “test” every day or not, he was one of the few friends that showed Kyle that it’s okay to stay at home and study. Post-graduation, Richard and Kyle have stayed close, asking Kyle to be a groomsman in his wedding and coming out to make a visit for the National Championship game in SF where Clemson beat up on Alabama (to nobody’s surprise, Richard left for home the day before the actual game). If you’re looking for Richard at the wedding, he will be the one reapplying sunscreen even though we’re indoors

Greenville, SC Brittany is Kelsey's best friend from childhood growing up in Greer, SC. They cheered together, got in trouble for talking too much in class, and were a dynamic duo of goofiness. Brittany is a new mom to her beautiful baby girl, Baker. She’s not like other moms though, she’s a cool mom. We can almost guarantee Brittany will be the first and last one on the dancefloor.
Maxwell Randall

San Francisco, CA Maxwell (Max) and Kyle met in 2017 when Max moved to San Francisco from Annapolis, MD. Max and Kyle bonded over their New England roots, love for football, and Max’s endless knowledge of all things tech. They have also attended multiple sporting events (a Warrior’s playoff game and a 49ers wild card game) and went on numerous camping trips during COVID. If you’re looking for Max at the wedding, he will be the one with a beer, singing along to every country song on the playlist.

San Francisco, CA Gabby was technically friends with Kyle before she met Kelsey, but when Kelsey moved to San Francisco during the pandemic, she and Gabby quickly became each others therapists and hiking buddies. She is a special education teacher in San Francisco living with her boyfriend, Marquise (groomsman). Gabby is the life of the party and will make sure every single person is feeling loved and having a good time on our big day. We’d provide pointers on where to find her at the wedding, but there’s really no telling.

San Francisco, CA Marquise and Kyle met through Gabby (Kelsey’s bridesmaid) in 2018 at a birthday event for Sawyer and Myles. They bonded over their love for food and football (in that order) – frequenting BWW on NFL Sundays, wing Wednesdays at Westwood, and Kyle’s apartment during COVID lockdowns. Quise has quickly become a great friend and someone Kyle reaches out to for advice. If you’re looking for Marquise at the wedding, he will be the one asking the servers for tajin to add to his Modelo.

Canton, GA Back in 2017 there was a small get together in Buckhead where these two both showed up knowing almost no one. They immediately clicked and left as roommates. This is one of those rare instances where living with a complete stranger worked out perfectly and they became friends for life. Ansley is a wonderful mom to her little boy, Lane. If you’re looking for her at the wedding, she and Kelsey are probably planning renovations and decor changes to their homes.

Minneapolis, MN Ryan and Kyle met in 2017 where they quickly became friends. They bonded over sports, TV shows, and video games, and were inseparable during COVID – consistently hanging at each other’s apartments during lockdown. Ryan also played a big role as Jackson’s uncle for weekends when Kelsey and Kyle had to travel. Ryan is a ball of positive energy and always the happiest person in the room. If you’re looking for Ryan at the wedding, stay where you are because he will most likely end up finding you to introduce himself.
Maggie Smitherman

Atlanta, GA Maggie and Kelsey are the textbook definition of work wives even though they haven't worked together in 3+ years. They had adjacent cubicles in Atlanta and are patiently waiting for they day they can be work wives again. Until then, they'll continue to Facetime regularly and share as many beach days as possible. If you’re looking for Maggie at the wedding, it could be tricky. You will have to dive into the crowd to find this tiny friend.
Austin Wieck

Orange County, CA Austin and Kyle met in 2018 at a birthday celebration for Erin Wieck (Kelsey’s bridesmaid) in Denver. They immediately bonded over all sports, music, and the eventual desire to get out of SF. Once back in the city, they began hanging out more frequently, which entailed many rounds of golf, playing on the same softball team, and watching football games at each other’s apartment. If you’re looking for Austin at the wedding, he will be the only tan one (besides his wife) from California.

San Francisco, CA Isa and Kelsey became friends in San Francisco. Isa is always down for a ski weekend in Lake Tahoe or a lazy Sunday watching football. Whatever it may be, if you have questions about the plan - ask Isa. She will always find the best nearby concert, restaurant or campsite for everyone to enjoy. Want to find her at the wedding? She is probably the one on the dance floor in funky sunglasses drinking a coors lite.

Jacksonville, FL Braeden (Kelsey’s younger brother) and Kyle met in the early stages of Kyle and Kelsey’s relationship when he was in high school. Since then, they have spent a great deal of time together, whether it was Braeden flying out to SF for a weekend or moving down to Jacksonville. They’ve also bonded over sports, music, and most importantly picking on Kelsey. If you’re looking for Braeden at the wedding, he will be the one singing and “air-guitar”ing to every song on the playlist.

Los Angeles, CA Camila was also a built-in friend for Kelsey when moving to SF. She had been friends with Kyle for years and had heard about Kelsey for a while before they had the opportunity to meet. 9/10 times, you can find Camila and Kelsey in a room full of people sitting in the corner deep in conversation. You all will probably see Camila on Saturday Night Live one day, but until then, we will enjoy her as our personal skit comedian. Fun Fact - Camila has two boyfriends: Jackson (our dog) and Myles (groomsman).
William Henne

Colorado Springs, CO William (“Wild Bill” or Kelsey’s youngest brother) and Kyle met in the early stages of Kyle and Kelsey’s relationship when he was in middle school. Since then, Will has grown what seems like four feet in two days and has spent countless hours with Kyle golfing, going to the range, and “talking shop”. It should also be mentioned that Will is playing football for and attending the United States Air Force Academy. If you’re looking for Will at the wedding, he will be the tall one that you least expect to fit inside of a cockpit.

Tampa, FL Although Olivia and Kelsey are bother Clemson Tigers, their friendship really grew when Olivia moved to Atlanta. They went out for wine and tapas and never looked back. She and Kelsey are both Floridians now, and there are many road trips ahead between Jacksonville and Tampa. If you see Olivia at the wedding, ask her about her mischievous pup Poppy or really about any of the various kinds of pets she’s had. Chickens, frogs, dogs, you name it.
