Local artisan market (Spanish mostly spoken). Great for souvenirs, hats, jewelry, flowers, shoes, and street food. Pesos only at this market, and yes, the food here is safe and delicious!
Fabrica la Aurora
A former textile factory has been transformed into a vibrant art and design center with galleries, shops, wine tastings, restaurants, and workshops.
Agavia 115
Elevated dining experience with Chef Jaquez. Creative Mexican cuisine with a twist. English is spoken. Highly recommended for a memorable meal.

Popular rooftop with incredible city views, great cocktails, and lively entertainment at night. Staff speaks English.
La Azotea
Cozy rooftop with some English-speaking bartenders. Must-try: the camarón de roca (shrimp taco) — one of our absolute favorites! Great food, drinks, and has city veiws.
Los Milagros
A lively, classic San Miguel spot that’s perfect for groups and casual dining. Known for its generous portions of fajitas, tacos, and traditional Mexican dishes, it’s always buzzing with energy and live music in the evenings. The atmosphere is festive and welcoming, making it a fun place to grab margaritas and enjoy the local vibe. Staff speaks both Spanish and English, and the menu has plenty of options for everyone.
Luna de Queso
A mix of cute shops and a café. Great for breakfast, light lunch, sandwiches, charcuterie, or coffee. Relaxed vibe with lots of little options nearby. Likely need a taxi.
Altar Rooftop
Great food, Good drinks, and a lively spot to go on Friday or Saturday with DJs. English spoken here.
Restaurante Cielo
Our favorite rooftop for chill, relaxing vibe, and a nightly cap. Typically not crowded and plays good music. English spoken here.

Trendy spot with live bands on weekends. Known for cocktails and food. English spoken, not a rooftop but a fun atmosphere.
El Cafe de la Mancha, Café de Especialidad
Perfect breakfast or coffee stop at a smaller restaurant with amazing food. Friendly staff who speak English.
Andy's Taco Cart
Late-night street tacos (open 7:30 PM–1:00 AM). No English, cash only (pesos), but worth the walk — best tacos in town. Can get by without speaking English, just have ChatGPT or Google Translate on hand to translate your order!
