Lindsay Growing up, I knew of Jesus. I went to church, and grew up in a Christian household. However, I never lived my life for the Lord. I found myself putting value in worldly things, and craving attention from people that didn't care about me. I lived the typical high school life. Then, halfway through junior year. I met Elijah. I began to see what a Godly man was like, and found a church family that was truly on fire for the Lord. I decided to give up a lot of the things I had been doing, not only to be a good girlfriend to Elijah, but most importantly live life for Jesus. I was set free from evil, and found freedom in the Lord. Since then, I decided to be re-baptized, became a Youth Leader, and have made Jesus my ultimate best friend. Elijah

Knowing each other through many connections, we were friends on social media. After having a few friendly conversations, Elijah called me "cute"...I had heart eyes immediately. Our first date was at Udder Choice, then Starbucks and bowling, then The Brickerville House, then eventually he introduced me to his parents. 3 months later, Elijah asked me to be his official girlfriend in our high school's cafeteria... very romantic.

I, being a photographer, had a photoshoot at the beautiful Longwood Gardens on July 13, 2023. The Senior I was capturing had been a friend of my family's for a long time. Her, her mom, her sister, and my little sister, all were in on it, and knew that I had someone special waiting for me in the gardens. Our session went a half hour longer than planned, when eventually, they handed me a map and a bag with makeup and one of my dresses (I was wearing a t-shirt and jean shorts, not proposal appropriate). They left my sister and I to figure out what to do. I found a bathroom and changed, knowing what was happening, but having a hard time believing that the time was actually here. We walked to a gazebo surrounded in my favorite flower, hydrangeas, and there Elijah and a photographer were, waiting for me to arrive. He got down on one knee with my dream ring, and we were engaged. Truly a highlight of my life. NEXT UP... MARRIAGE.
