Nashville International Airport (BNA) is a quick 15-20 minute trip from the city center in regular traffic conditions. It is undergoing a series of renovations, so you'll likely experience a mix of old and new in the terminals, depending on which airline you choose. We recommend using Taxi or Rideshare services (i.e., Uber and Lyft) to get to and from BNA, unless you plan on renting a car. Nashville is a driving city with limited public transportation, so be prepared to hire a set of wheels in one form or another during your stay!
Travel Note
We strongly recommend booking an Airbnb in one of Nashville's wonderful neighborhoods for an authentic local experience, away from the hubbub of the downtown tourist center. Trust us: there's so much more to Nashville than honky tonks and party buses! For more information on our favorite neighborhoods, please visit the 'FAQs' section of this website.
Travel Note
If you're more of a hotel person, you're in luck: as a major entertainment hub, Nashville is home to a world-class hospitality scene, with a wide selection of boutique and luxury hotels in addition to more standard hotel options. We like The 1 Hotel, The Graduate, The Grand Hyatt, The Virgin Hotel, The Union Station Hotel, The Drift Nashville, and the Hutton Hotel, where Josh used to tend bar and take room service orders for people like Cher and Steven Spielberg. Ask him about it sometime. ・NOTE: Information about hotel room blocks with discounted rates for our guests will be shared closer to the wedding.・
