Once upon a time, in an Ad Sales department far far away (in Hollywood), there was a girl and a boy who would one day fall in love. The two would bump into each other on occasion, exchanging pleasantries in the office kitchen, sharing a smile and prolonged eye contact from across the room, discussing best practices for creating efficient & effective media strategies... you know, the usual stuff. While the two admired each other from afar, their hearts were somewhere else, and their fate was never meant to be... or so they thought.  At one serendipitous St Pattys Day soiree, the two would come to find that the other was newly single, and a roaring flame was lit that is still burning to this day. A magnetic connection of the eyes, a tequila shot (or two), and a hilarious voicemail (yes we still have it) were the only sparks needed to ignite their shared passion for each other. Danielle and Kevin were smitten, and the two have been inseparable ever since.

As their love for each other grew, it was not a question of whether Danielle & Kevin would get engaged... it was only a matter of how & when. With plans of visiting Italy in April 2020, their grand vision of celebrating a romantic engagement while sailing along the coast of Positano was crushed by a tiny little, very minor global pandemic. But COVID couldn't rock their boat... rest assured it was still a ferry-tail ending ;) On Kevin's 31st birthday, the two took the Friday off work, dressed up like they were in Italy, and planned a day out, pretending to be in Positano. But they each carried a secret, a surprise they each planned for the other, and this mutual anticipation made it all the more special. Danielle coordinated with Olivia (Kevin's mom) a surprise sunset boat cruise for Kevin's birthday. Meanwhile, Kevin & Olivia schemed the ultimate surprise inception, where Kevin would propose while on Danielle's surprise boat cruise. Sneaky right?!  As the two sailed off into the Marina sunset with Captain Skip aboard The Duchess, Danielle sat back and sipped her champagne, soaking in the coastline & sweet satisfaction of her masterful plan. Meanwhile, Kevin was in the boat bathroom, shaving his COVID moustache (for the engagement pics of course!), preparing his words that would get her to "yes". As they stood along the bow for a photo opp, Kevin dropped to his knee, asked for her hand, and she said YES! (after she incessantly asked where the moustache went!) The two were beyond elated, and sailed into the sunset sipping champagne, laughing about the surprises they planned for each other, enjoying the happiest night of their lives.  We can't wait to continue our story with all of you, our family & friends, on 5/20/22!
