We're getting married!

Katelyn and Dustin first met in their fourth grade class in Las Vegas, NV. Dustin was too shy to claim Katelyn as his Valentine that year, but little did he know, he would get his chance 8 years later when they reconnected senior year. The happy couple officially began dating the night of their senior class trip to Disney Land. Soon after, they spent a year apart. Katelyn moved to Minnesota in 2015 and they have been together ever since! Currently, Katelyn and Dustin now rent a home in Oronoco, MN in which they share with their dog, Audrey, and cat, Kimura. They enjoy traveling to visit family, going to the movie theatre, attending music concerts and festivals, trying out new restaurants, and cozy nights spent together!

On the early morning of Christmas Day, Katelyn and Dustin woke up to open gifts together. In a little black box, held a Canadian diamond engagement ring. “Pretty lady”, Dustin asked, “Will you be mine forever?” Of course, Katelyn said yes! Six years later, they are finally the soon-to-be Klappericks!

We have been engaged for a year now and our love remains strong! We are constantly learning more about each other, even after all these years. We choose to understand and respect one another, and compromise when necessary. We listen more, love harder, and apologize faster. We are so excited for our big day in June and to finally be married.
