Alexa and Ryan’s story began when they were six years old. Their moms, Irene and Melissa, were stationed next to each other at the same hair salon. During that time, Ryan’s sister, Kylie, decided to have a makeover party for her ninth birthday. Irene asked Melissa to assist with the girls' makeup while she did their hair, and Melissa brought Alexa along. That’s when Alexa and Ryan met for the first time, though neither of them knew then that it was the start of something special. Years later, Ryan and Alexa reconnected—this time as teenagers. They quickly formed a strong friendship, but it wasn’t until a trip to Mammoth with friends that they started to realize there was something more between them. On August 22, 2019, they officially started dating, and soon after, they discovered their lives had been connected long before they ever crossed paths again. It felt as if God had brought them back together, and that was when they both knew they were meant to be. Fast forward to August 22, 2024, Ryan took Alexa to Point Dume Beach and got down on one knee, asking her to be his forever. By then, they had already built a beautiful life together—buying their first home, raising two German Shepherds, Ranger and Axe, and working hard to achieve their dreams. Alexa and Ryan could not be more thankful for the life they have built together and the partnership they share. As they look ahead to their future, Alexa and Ryan are filled with gratitude for all the blessings God has given them. They’re excited to see where He will lead them next and can’t wait for the journey that lies ahead, knowing that with God’s love at the center of their relationship, the best is yet to come.
