We're getting married!

Luke & I lived in the same dorm Freshman year of college at Eastern, and we were in the same small-group tour of the school before college started. Luke claims that he noticed me then, but I don't remember him being there... (sorry). Later that year, we learned that we had a mutual friend, who took us both along to watch him get a haircut. We sat in Super Cuts, chatting and getting to know each other. At our apartment complex the next year, we were assigned to be neighbors! We were the only 2 of our roommates that stayed in Cheney for the summer, and spent the whole break together. It didn't take us long to realize that we enjoyed each other's company, and he finally made it official during our junior year. We'll always owe it to Eastern and Renwil's haircut for bringing us together!

Luke offered to plan a date for our 4-year anniversary, and wanted to keep it a surprise. How fun! We played mini golf, went to a farmer's market, and had dinner at one of our favorite special-occasion spots. He said we were going somewhere else for dessert. We arrived at a cute restaurant with an outdoor venue space, and he said he read on the website that we had to go around to the side entrance- he thought of it all! When we got around the building, I was surprised with a display of photos of us and handmade signs. Our families and friends were waiting inside a beautifully decorated private room, and he proposed in front of a picture-perfect backdrop!
