Elizabeth is SUPER into Jared. She grew up in Austin, Texas. She is in her third year as a doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology program at the University of North Texas. Elizabeth has loved the program so far, and has found her niche teaching statistics, diagnosing mental health issues, and being a therapist. However! All that sitting still makes her a little antsy. To keep her inner beast at bay, she teaches group exercise classes and runs entirely too many marathons. Want to impress Elizabeth at the wedding? Ask her to dance (Jared will undoubtably be relieved)!

Jared is wildly in love with Elizabeth Davis. He is from San Antonio. By the time you read this, Jared will be a doctor! He just got a cool position at the Dallas VA hospital treating substance use. But broadly, he has found that he loves working with adults and children who have experienced trauma. It's a weird jam for a person to have, but what can you do? He's also kind of a big nerd (see below)! Jared and Elizabeth met in a statistics class during Elizabeth's first and Jared's fifth year of graduate school. SOME STUFF HAPPENED. The timeline highlights include: Statistics > Jared Party > staggering crush > deepening friendship > falling madly in love, and never looking back. This last year Jared and Elizabeth have been split between Denton and Waco, so they've both become well acquainted with I-35. The distance has only made them stronger and more grateful for their time together. You're basically caught up! With Jared's Post-Doctorate position in Dallas, they are thrilled to be close again. Elizabeth encourages Jared to engage in life-threatening activities (e.g. dancing or running) and Jared helps remind Elizabeth to do the same (e.g. sitting still). As an update, Elizabeth is still atrociously bad at video games and is getting better every other day. They really enjoy cooking together, binging TV, and dancing in the kitchen. They know they are incredibly lucky to have found each other, and couldn't be more grateful that they fit so well into each other's families. They are looking forward to sharing their lives and continuing to grow together through more hiking and cooking and video games. And kisses (GROSS).
