Briana and Keyon's paths began to cross in college at Stephen F. Austin State University in 2014, when they were both members of the Lumberjack Marching Band. During this time they were just getting to know each other as friends. Keyon invited Briana and her friends to church and the two of them had many laughs and fun experiences while in band together and at various church services.
Overtime Briana and Keyon realized how much they loved being in each other's company and how well they complimented each other. After praying and realizing that God had joined them together, they started dating in April 2017. Briana- "I cherish Keyon's love for Christ above all else, knowing that he will lead our household by the Father's Word and that he will strive to love me as Christ loved the church. God really opened my eyes to Keyon's strength, passion and commitment when we started dating. He has always been loyal and dependable to not only me but everyone he loves. He is hilarious and exudes positivity everywhere he goes which makes even my most challenging days so so happy! I am so proud to be his future wife and thankful that God completely blessed me with this man." Keyon- "Briana has been a rock in my life. Her love of Christ, beautiful spirit and contagious laugh is what drew me to her. She always pushes me to be the best version of myself and Bri is to thank for a portion of my success. Her unconditional love, kindness and support is just apart of who she is. Bri and I have so much peace when we are together no matter what the circumstances are. I understand that a man who finds a good wife finds a good thing, and I know that I found a priceless treasure in Bri." After 3.5 years of dating, & growing in love together, Keyon proposed to Briana privately on November 22nd, 2020 in San Antonio, TX on the Riverwalk. They are now planning to get married almost exactly a year later. "We thank the Lord for the beautiful privilege to do life hand in hand. We are not only planning a wedding but we are preparing for a whole life of love while pursuing and serving God. We are so thrilled and ask that you continue to pray for us and with us as we start this journey of building a marriage that models God's original intent of forgiveness, selfless love, and sacrifice. We are so excited to celebrate with every one of you!" - Keyon & Briana
"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."
