Matt surprised Mary with a helicopter ride to the top of the mountain. We got to see all of Seward on the ride up.

Mary was a little excited after saying Yes!

After the proposal, we enjoyed the views from the top of Mt. Marathon, celebrated with a beer and sandwich and then hiked back down to the bottom.

The first day we met - July 4, 2020. Our mutual friend, Kendall, invited both of us on a hike. We hiked our first 14er, Gray's and Torrey's.

Hiking in Denali, our favorite National Park! The leaves were peak fall colors while we were there over Labor Day Weekend last year.

Our first ski trip together - February 2021. We were still just friends at this point and went to Utah to ski in Salt Lake City.

We’re officially homeowners! We bought our first house in Lakewood, Colorado and are looking forward to making it our home. Matt’s excited for lots of projects in the near future.

M&M Fun Fact: We both attended school at The University of South Carolina at the same time, both studying engineering, but our paths never crossed! We had quite a few mutual friends, though.

M&M Fun Fact: Our first "unofficial" date was a hike together in the Summer of 2021. Our first "official" date was later that year going rock climbing and then out to eat sushi.

The day after we got engaged we took a boat tour to the glaciers of Kenai Fjords National Park.

Celebrating Matt's parents 40th Wedding Anniversary on a cruise to Mexico, Belize and Honduras. It was Mary's first cruise!

M&M Fun Fact: As you can tell by our gallery, our favorite things to do together are skiing, hiking, camping, traveling and hanging out with our Australian Shepherd, Rueben.

On our trip to Alaska, we went on a fishing charter to celebrate Matt's 28th birthday. We each caught our full limit on halibut, rockfish and cod. We flew home with 60 pounds of fresh fish.
