Open Thursday through Monday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM We visited The Gorge White House last summer for a date, and couldn't stop talking about it for weeks. The Gorge White House provides artisanal farm fresh food from their Food Cart, award winning Hard Ciders & Wines and to top off your visit, enjoy your afternoon in the beautifully maintained fields of U-Pick Fruits and Flowers with photo opportunities at every turn.
House of Vintage
Open Daily from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM One of our favorite stops for eclectic clothing items and a lovely, walkable area in Portland. House of Vintage Portland is a collective of over 60 dealers within their 13,000 sq ft store, specializing in vintage (1920s-2000s) clothing, shoes and accessories. In addition, the store also has a wide variety of vintage home goods, furniture, art, pop culture items and collectibles.
McMenamins Kennedy School
Open Daily from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM McMenamins Kennedy School is a special place to the both of us. As somewhere we frequently visit for a date, an anniversary dinner, or a birthday lunch, we consider this one of our favorite spots around. If you decide to visit, be sure to take a walk through the halls of the school to check out the exquisite artwork, gift shop featuring great PNW finds, catch a movie in the theater, or even take a dip in their beautiful soaking tub.
Portland Saturday Market
Open Saturdays Only - 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Every Saturday from March through Christmas Eve, the Old Town/Chinatown neighborhood transforms into a thriving arts and crafts open-air marketplace. Items are sold by the people who make them, giving the customers the chance to talk directly with the artisan about their craft and why artists choose to make their living at the Market.
Paradise Tattoo
Open Hours Determined by Individual Artists Feeling adventurous? Visit our most-frequented tattoo shop and grab a piece from Sara Dawn or any of the other talented artists at Paradise. Sara Dawn has done several tattoos on both Jacob and Madisen, and specializes in American traditional designs and nostalgic cartoons. With several artists offering their own individual amazing flash designs, you're sure to find something you'll love.

Open Daily from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM A favorite spot of Madisen's, the Oregon Zoo is a fantastic place to spend the day and get your steps in! The Oregon Zoo connects our community to the wonder of wildlife to create a better future for all, operating as a hub for science, conservation, education and animal well-being delivering the highest quality of care.
