We are getting married!

We are so thankful for all the love and support we have felt throughout our entire engagement! Please find the quickly changing covid regulations below. As things change, we are updating this page as frequently as possible. As of now the following policies are in place: If you are not vaccinated, we are believing in the honor system that you have not been exposed or exhibited any covid symptoms recently. There seemed to have been a lot of build up to the first time we met. My friend’s girlfriend had talked Carly up to be this perfect person with no flaws. When the time came to actually meet her I was pleasantly surprised to know that she was not wrong. I fell for her within the first second and at that moment I knew something was different about her. Once the ball got rolling in our relationship, it picked up speed faster than I could have imagined. I have fallen more in love with her every day since that first time and I am consistently surprised to the happiness and joy she brings me. Now on to the next and most exciting chapter in our lives.

After many adventures, this one is definitely my favorite. I had been hounding Mike to go to Sands Point to walk our dog and get a cute picture. Little did I know, I planned my proposal! So the morning comes and it is truly a beautiful day and I ran errands with my mom and sister in the morning and then reconnected with Mike when we were done. Once we got to Sands Point I wanted to go everywhere and see everything and Mike was very consistent on us getting a picture over with. We head over to our favorite spot for pictures and if I'm being honest, the rest is a bit fuzzy. I go to put a bandana on our dog and I look over and Mike is on one knee with a ring in his hand. I was completely shocked and excited but all I could do was smile. We did not go on a hike because Mike had even more planned! We got home and Mike had all of our family and closest friends waiting at my mom's house and then even more friends and family waiting at the bar after lunch! Safe to say, "best day ever" is an understatement. He went above and beyond that day, but it was no surprise because he goes above and beyond for me every single day. I am just surprised that he pulled it off!
