We rented a 21-bedroom villa from November 4-9, 2025. Please let us know if you would like to stay with us so we can include you in the room assignments. However, if you prefer to stay elsewhere, there are a variety of wonderful and affordable hotels and AirBnbs nearby.

Visas

Visa on Arrival (VOA) is available for travelers entering Bali for tourism, business meetings, or transit. It can be obtained upon arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport and costs IDR 500,000 (approximately $35 USD). The VOA allows a stay of up to 30 days. To be eligible, travelers must have a passport valid for at least six months, a return or onward ticket, and proof of sufficient funds. Payment can be made in cash or by card. For a smoother process, travelers can also apply for an e-VOA online before departure.

From the Airport to Canggu is a 1–1.5 hours drive. Pre-booked taxis or ride-share apps like Grab or GoJek can help avoid any hassle.

Weather and packing tips

November in Bali is warm and slightly humid, with temperatures around 77–86°F (25–30°C). Pack light, breathable clothing, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. A light shawl or jacket may come in handy for cooler evenings. Mosquito repellent is also recommended, especially if you'll be exploring outdoors! November marks the start of Bali’s rainy season, so you can expect occasional downpours, often in the afternoons or evenings.

Bali uses the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). While credit cards are accepted at most hotels and larger restaurants, cash is preferred for smaller shops, markets, and taxis. ATMs are available, but we recommend exchanging some cash at the airport or a local exchange.
