Visit Downtown Chicago
It’s 35 minutes to an hour’s drive from the hotel, depending on traffic. If you're visiting near rush hour, we recommend taking the Metra BNSF Line from Main Street Downers Grove or Westmont stations, it's an easy ride straight into the city. We've lived in Lakeview, Streeterville, Gold Coast and Lincoln Park. If you visit Gold Coast, swing by Hopsmith where we had our first date.

Danada Forest Preserve
10 minutes from our venue, Danada Forest Preserve is a peaceful spot with scenic walking paths through prairies and woods. There’s a 1 mile loop if you’re looking for a quick stroll, or you can go a bit farther on the longer trails.
The Morton Arboretum
If you want to explore nature and art, the Morton Arboretum in Lisle is a gorgeous spot with miles of walking trails, gardens, art installations, and stunning trees from all over the world.
