Julia and Michael's story started in the halls of North Pocono, where they first crossed paths during their elementary school days. Little did they know that this would set the stage for a love story that would span a lifetime. As time passed and they transitioned from the halls of middle and high school, their friendship flourished. After graduating from North Pocono, they found themselves on the same path yet again, this time at Gettysburg College. Their college years were filled with unforgettable memories, academic achievements, and a love that continued to deepen. Post-grad, Julia and Michael spent time living in New York City and Hoboken and made frequent trips across the Hudson to explore their new cities together. Their adventures then led them to the warm embrace of Austin, Texas where they eagerly welcomed the city's lively spirit and southern charm. Today, Julia and Michael call the City of Brotherly Love their home, where they share their lives with their beloved pup, Derby. Philadelphia’s vibrancy has created a perfect backdrop for this chapter of their love story - a story that has surpassed time and distance, and one that they are excited to continue writing together.

On their annual trip to Puerto Rico, Julia and Michael spent January 17th, 2023, exploring the local El Yunque Rainforest and the surrounding beach towns. After an adventurous and exhilarating day of cliff jumping and taste testing mojitos Michael and Julia's journey took an unforgettable turn. Michael decided to scrap his original proposal plan, and in its place, suggested a casual picnic on the beach. Pizza and wine in hand, they made their way to the beach for sunset where the picnic was anything but casual. Michael asked Julia to marry him! The remainder of the trip was spent soaking in the excitement of their engagement and spending beach days daydreaming about their wedding day.
