Campus Corner

Popularly known as, "Camp Co" by Villanova students, this is the closest spot off-campus for a quick bite! You can easily walk to this spot from the church. In addition to pizza, you can enjoy a variety of hoagies (our favorite is the "fat cat" - a hoagie with mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers, fries, bacon, and a sauce of your choice), milkshakes, cheesesteaks, and much more!

The Goat's Beard

Although we had our first date at the Goat's Beard in Manayunk, this local chain is worth a visit!

First Watch - Villanova

This is our favorite brunch spot! We had our first pre-date here!

McKenzie Brew House

This brewhouse is only 5 minutes from the Sheraton Great Valley Hotel! Find good American food and brews here!

Independence Hall

A trip to Philadelphia would not be complete without a visit to Independence Hall, "The Birthplace of Our Nation," and the Liberty Bell Museum!

City Tavern Restaurant

This is one of our favorite date night spots! Although the original building burned down, this is the tavern where many of the Founder Fathers shared a drink together after a long day of work at Independence Hall.

Reading Terminal Market

If you are a "foodie," this is the place for you! Noted as one of America's oldest public markets, Reading Terminal Market has over 40 different merchants all in one place!!

Jim's South St. (Jim's Steaks South Street)

Philadelphia is the home of the famous cheesesteak! Nestled in South Philly, a very hip part of town, Jim's Steaks is the place to go to enjoy a classic cheesesteak!

Manayunk

Another fun place for a night out! We went here for our first date and for Halloween night fun! There are plenty of fun bars and restaurants! Our favorites: Ryan's Pub, The Goat's Beard, and Manayunk Brewing Company.

Fishtown

Fishtown is one of our favorite neighborhoods for a night out! There are plenty of fun bars (e.g. there's a German beer garden and bars with skeeball and video games), restaurants, and a casino!
