It all began at Casey’s fraternity’s annual Classy Christmas party. Kaci was a senior at American University and Casey was in his first year at George Mason School of Law. Kaci recognized Casey from another Greek life event and went up to Casey to say hello. Casey couldn’t quite recall meeting Kaci, so she gave him a hint, “My name is very similar to yours,” to which Casey replied, “Katie?” Kaci laughed and we parted ways. Two years later, we matched on Tinder and the rest is history!

Kaci’s family rented a beach house on the bay in Northern New Jersey. It was an extra special trip because it was the first family vacation that the Baggotts have taken since Sherrin’s car accident in 2012. The Baggotts and the Bachs have become great friends over the years, and the Bachs came to the beach house for the 4th of July. With both families gathered around the living room, Casey popped the question. The Baggotts and the Bachs celebrated for the rest of the day drinking champagne, eating Italian takeout, and watching fireworks on the beach.
