Cocktail attire. Suits, suit separates, and cocktail dresses are all welcome. A large portion of the evening will be on a grass lawn, so we recommend wearing wedges, block heels, or sandals.
We expect it'll be warm while the sun is out, however, since we're right next to the water, we recommend you bring a light jacket for when the sun goes down.
We suggest you plan on arriving between 3:30PM and 3:45PM. Depending on where you park, it could take you anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes to walk to the venue.
There are 70 spaces available on-site at Valhalla. Once you arrive, pull up to the green gate and the gate attendant will let you in. If this lot is full by the time you arrive, there is an additional parking lot located between Valhalla Rd and Heritage Way, outside of Valhalla's main gate (see the map at the top of the page). Please keep in mind that no cars can be left in Valhalla's parking lot overnight.
Our ceremony will be at 4:00PM inside Valhalla, followed by cocktail hour from 4:30PM to 5:30PM. Our reception will begin at 5:30PM, located outside on Valhalla's lawn. Our event will end at 10:00PM.
We kindly ask that you RSVP before the 12 of May, 2023. You can RSVP right here on our wedding website.
Although we adore your children, we have decided to make our wedding day an adults-only event. If you need a babysitter, here are two resources in Lake Tahoe: https://laketahoesitters.com https://laketahoenannies.com All babysitters and nannies through these two companies are required to have experience, go through a background check, and are trained professionals.
You'll be missed! We understand, but please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
Because Valhalla is located on a historical site in beautiful Lake Tahoe, Valhalla is a non-smoking venue.
